~Peoples Ministry in Christ
~Several individual missionaries, currently (or retired from) serving Christ throughout the world.
The congregation intentionally commits at least 10% of it’s annual budget to missions each year.
Additionally, the congregation often joyfully embraces church-wide mission projects.
True Blue
True Blue is a wonderful mission and social group at BCPC, which was first formed a century ago! Membership is open to ladies of any age – from young to elderly – who have a heart for unique mission projects and enjoy each other’s company.
“Enrichment Time”, is what we call our Sunday School for children, age 3 through 6th grade.  It takes place during Sunday morning worship, beginning just after Rev. Barbara’s Children Time
in the service.  Bible stories, arts & crafts, and friends & fun are staples of this special time.
Seasonal classes for adults are offered throughout the year. Topics might include an in-depth look at one of the gospels, a “book club” group examining a novel through a Chirstian lense, or a study of current events from a biblical perspective.  Often, these informal gatherings are offered twice a week, once on a weekday morning, and again on a separate evening, in an attempt to appeal to different work and obligation schedules.
Kid’s Summer Program
The Christian Education committee routinely organizes a summer-time event for kids. In the recent past, this has taken various forms, including:
~A full, week-long VBS program
~A condensed, 3-evening VBS
~A single-day, fun, biblical  blow-out! 🙂
On occasion, the committee has held Christen Ed. events and activites that intentionally involve church-family members of ALL ages learning about God together.
Music at BCPC has historically been a very vital aspect of the church.
Congregational Music
You’ll hear traditional hymns each week, (along with the occasional contemporary praise tune, sprinkled in every now and then)…all led by our very talented organist.
Adult Vocal Choir
Sings periodically throughout the year, often combining with our friends from the Elba Presbyterian Church for special services.
Children’s Chime Choir
Is a relatively new praise ensemble, but this enthusiastic group has quickly become a favorite of the congregation!
Memorial Bell Choir
Our wonderful Bell Choir rings
occasionally throughout the liturgical year.
Special Music
It is common for some of our individual adult and young people to share their God-given musical talents in praise during worship. Musical selections are also sometimes provided by guest musicians.
Nursing Home Chimes Ministry
A few members of our Memorial Bell Choir regularly lead an informal chime choir with the residents of a local nursing home!

Luke 19:40 tells us that if
we don’t praise God, the very stones will cry out in praise!
Our regular weekly worship service takes place on Sunday mornings at 9:00am.  Additionally, some special services, are held throughout the year.  Please open the “Visit” tab at the top of this page for more information about our worship services.
Iglesia de Dios
We are pleased to host our brothers and sisters of Iglesia de Dios, a local Hispanic congregation, on Sunday afternoons and Friday evenings. This spirit-filled Spanish-speaking congregation holds two services per week at BCPC.  Occasionally our two congregations join together for food and Christian fellowship.
